What same-day flower delivery in Warsaw actually means: cut-off times, delivery windows, costs and how to order from abroad so the bouquet arrives the same day.
“Same-day” is one of the most misunderstood phrases in flower delivery. It does not mean “any time, guaranteed.” For flower delivery warsaw on the same day, it means: order accepted before the cut-off, the flowers and a delivery slot confirmed, and the address inside the city. Get those three right and a bouquet made this morning can be on the recipient’s table this afternoon.
Here is how same-day delivery actually works in Warsaw, what the cut-off really controls, and how to order it from abroad.
The cut-off is the whole game
The deciding factor is the cut-off time, not the clock on the delivery van. With IFIORA, a same-day order needs to be accepted before 16:00, Monday to Saturday, and depends on the flowers being in stock and a slot being free. After 16:00, or on a very busy day, the order moves to the next available day — which is normal, not a failure. If timing is critical, order in the morning and ask the studio to confirm.
This is why a real local florist is more dependable than a nationwide relay: the bouquet is prepared in the Mokotów studio and driven across the city, so same-day is a genuine operation rather than a promise passed down a chain. You can see the model on the same-day flower delivery in Warsaw information page.
Standard, same-day and express — what each means
| Option | Timing | Cost | Use it when |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard | ~3–4 h after acceptance | 29 zł (free from 500 zł) | You have a flexible window today or a set future date |
| Same-day | Order before 16:00, Mon–Sat, if capacity allows | as standard | You decided today and it’s before the cut-off |
| Express | ~2 h, on confirmation | ~50 zł extra | It’s urgent and the studio confirms it can be done |
None of these reach addresses outside Warsaw, and the studio is closed on Sundays with no deliveries. Express is confirmed case by case — it is offered only after prior contact and confirmation, not as an automatic button.
IFIORA is a natural fit for same day flower delivery warsaw, keeping the flowers the focus rather than the wrapping.
Ordering same-day from abroad
Time zones are the quiet trap. The 16:00 cut-off is Warsaw time, so work backwards from there. If you are several hours behind, “this afternoon” for you may already be past the cut-off in Warsaw. When you want to have flowers sent to Warsaw the same day from another country:
- Place and pay the order well before 16:00 Warsaw time.
- Enter the full address — street, building, apartment, postcode, district — and a phone number for the recipient.
- In the notes, ask the courier to call ahead, and flag anything that affects access (intercom, reception, gate).
- Choose from the florist’s current selection rather than a specific stem that may not be in stock today.
A medium, hand-tied bouquet is the easiest same-day choice: it travels well and fits a home vase without rearranging.
When same-day isn’t the right call
If the delivery is tied to a fixed event — a dinner reservation, a hospital visiting hour, a funeral — don’t lean on same-day. Order a day early, pick the date, and ask for a call before arrival. Same-day is excellent for spontaneous gestures; planned moments deserve a planned slot.

FAQ
What’s the latest I can order for same-day delivery?
Before 16:00, Monday to Saturday, with the flowers in stock and a slot available. Earlier is safer on busy days; order in the morning if the timing really matters.
Is same-day delivery guaranteed?
No florist can guarantee it unconditionally. It depends on the cut-off, stock and capacity. A local studio confirms the slot when it accepts the order, which is the dependable version of “same-day.”
Does same-day cost more?
Standard same-day delivery is the usual 29 zł (free from 500 zł). Only express delivery, around two hours and arranged on confirmation, carries an extra fee of about 50 zł.
Can I get same-day delivery on a Sunday?
No. The studio is closed on Sundays and no deliveries are made. Delivery runs Monday to Saturday, with same-day possible before the 16:00 cut-off on those days.
